April 10 -Banana Beach

arrived at chalong pier in the afternoon only to find all the boats have left, so we decided to go with one of the private long boats to banana beach. we really didnt know where we were going – but trusted no matter where we ended up it would be fine with us- we needed an easy day instead of all the motoring around weve gotten used to. traffic is always a bit hectic and every destination at least a 30 minute scooter ride.
(still stresses me out but less and less everyday.)

the water is unreal….i personally have never seen any so clear you could see the striped black and yellow fish swimming and the kids were trying to catch them….entertainment for hours!! tiff and i avoided the 100 baht chair charge as we brought our own matte- which i later left in the boat….so there goes 200 baht to buy a new one. Damn i try—but sometimes not completely successfully.
